Souled Out!

Set in 1974 the film is based around Joe McCain, a 17 year old bored with his life in a northern town. This is until he is introduced to the Wigan Casino by the character Jane. Here he finds a new world of dancing and escapism at the all-nighters in the Northern Soul Scene. As an art student Jane obsessively sketches Joe throughout the film, and finally produces a large oil painting of him. David was asked to supply all the artwork for these scenes.
