David Barrow Paintings
David W Barrow was born in parbold and spent his early years there before moving to Wigan. He began painting seriously at the age of 19. David is proud of his home and has vividly captured it in a number of well-regarded oil paintings featuring the like and heritage of Wigan.
David is also an accomplished painter of still life, and two examlpes have featured in a summer exhibition at the prestigious Royal Academy in London. He has also exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy of Fine Art and Manchester Academy of Fine Art.
His second attempt at a portrait was exhibited at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
His commissions include work for Wigan Council, Liverpool Football Club , Wigan Rugby Club,Wigan Athletic Football Club and Ocean Colour Scene's album cover - ' Live at the Jam House ' - with a limited edition print signed by the group.
