In 2008 David decided to adopt an entirely new style of painting. Naive painting had always held a fascination for David. To quote him directly.

"To paint in a naive style is the most enjoying and satisfying for me. The boundaries of conventional painting are removed and I can paint with complete freedom. This is the most honest way to depict childhood."

The enjoyment is something that is evident in his paintings. They are fresh and hence extremely charming.

Though in complete contrast to David's other work, his naive pictures have proved to be extremely popular, with a great demand on his original paintings. The exhibitions of his naive work have been extremely successful.
